Abstract
Thermally induced intra-intermolecular criss-cross cycloaddition of nonsymmetrical azines in the presence of phenyl isocyanate is described. This one-pot reaction gives heterocyclic compounds containing three fused five-membered rings. The molecular and crystal structure of products is reported and discussed.
