Abstract
A causal interrelationship betweenthe 0.1 Hz variability of SBPand PI, and BRS was shown. In borderline hypertensives, an incrcsed variability of SBP might be a sing of an increased sympathetic activity and it explains a relatively high PI variability at low BRS.
