The articlepresents the micropetrographic analysis of two non-attachable pieces of the anthropomorphic vessel of Lengyel culture and demonstrates that both pieces belong to the sama ceramic form of pottery. Consequently, on the basis of micropetrographic analysis it deals with the question of provenience of the vessel. The conclusion is that the analyzed parts of the vessel are completely identical and that material used at their production does not correspond with the composition of any of the collected soil samples nor with te pottery of the other ancient cultures form Těšetice-Kyjovice.
