Abstract
Thu study presents the utilization of behavioural experimental models to assess the role of serotonin neurotransmitter brain system in withdrawal signs occurred after ending of chronic diazepam treatment, and in rat methamphetamine dependence. The results referred bring the evidence about a possible preventive action of serotonergics from the occurrence of withdrawal signs while pre-treated prior to diazepam repeated administration withdrawal.
