Abstract
V originále
The present study was designed to investigate the influence of chronic treatment with fluoxetine on both the training and maintenance of i.v. methamphetamine self-administration. Our results indicate that 5-HT re-uptake inhibition by fluoxetine may suppress either reinforcing mechanisms or sensitization to methamphetamine eliciting drug-wanting behaviour.
