Abstract
Interrelationship among the variability in systolic blood pressure, pulse intervals and baroreflex sensitivity in untrined children and trainde swimmers were studied. A relatively higher variability of pulse intervals in the relationship to BRS in swimmers might be a sign of a higher parasympatheti and/or lower sympathetic tonic activity.
