HPLC can be successfully used for the determination of the state of 2-deoxycytidine 5-monophosphate methylation in DNA. Utilization of ED-ANN within HPLC has greatly enhanced the method of quantitative determination of 5-methyl-2'-deoxycytidine 5'-monophosphate and 2'-deoxycytidine 5'-monophosphate in the cell homogenate. Use of this approach has allowed us to optimize separation of several types of mixtures containing purine and pyrimidine bases, their nucleosides and nucleotides. ER -
