Abstract
Klicovym mechanismem pri vnitrobunecnem prenosu signalu je u prokaryotickych i eukaryotickych organismu fosforylace proteinu. Fosforylace His a Asp v dvoukomponentnich systemech (TCS) je dulezitym mechanismem prenosu signalu u prokaryotu, ktery byl nedavno objeven i u vyssich rostlin. U Arabidopsis thaliana odpovida za prenos signalu v etylenove a cytokininove draze. Studium prenosu signalu v TCS nam pomuze lepe pochopit funkci techto dvou hormonu u rostlin. V nasem clanku shrnujeme dosavadni znalosti o TCS u prokaryotu a eukaryotu. Na priklade rostliny Arabidopsis thaliana pak na zaklade publikovanych i vlastnich vysledku predstavujeme podrobne predevsim funkci regulatoru odpovedi a prezentujeme pravdepodobny model fungovani dvoukomponentnich regulacnich obvodu u Arabidopsis.
Abstract (in English)
His-Asp phosphorelay in two-component systems (TCS) comprising a sensor histidine kinase and response regulator plays a key role in the response to environmental stimuli especially in prokaryotes. Similar TCS were recently found to exist in yeast, fungi, Dictyostelium and plants. In Arabidopsis thaliana TCS have been shown to be involved in ethylene and cytokinin signalling. Elucidation of the signalling mechanisms is crucial for understanding the action of two important hormones. In this paper, we summarize the current knowledge about prokaryotic and eukaryotic TCS. Focusing on TCS in Arabidopsis thaliana and surveying the Arabidopsis response regulator (ARR) genes, we have constructed a phylogenetic tree of the ARR family, and derived a probable model for operation of two-component circuits in Arabidopsis.
