Abstract
In English
Excepting levels in gonads, contents of heavy metals (Ni, Cr, Cu) in some body organs of G. gobio caught in localities Bohuslavice and Svatý Štěpán did not show significant differences between males and females (P>0,05). However, when comparing levels of heavy metals in organs of fish caught in individual localities, the obtained results were different (P<0,001). The differences between males and females originating from both localities were not too marked but in case of Ni, Cr, Cu the measured levels were different (P<0,01). Contents of Ni and Cr in hepatopancreas of fish originating from the locality Svatý Štěpán were increased. In case of Cu, a reverse situation was observed. In gill tissue of fish originating from the locality Bohuslavice, the content of all metals under study was increase; the only exception was the level of Ni.
