V originále
Do studie bylo zahrnuto celekm 571 osob, z toho 280 alkoholiků a 291 kontrolních osob. Pomocí PCR a restrikční analýzy byl určen genotyp. U alkoholiků i kontrol byla zjištěna shodná frekvence alely A1. Nebyl zjištěn vztah TaqI A polymorfizmu genu pro DRD2 k alkoholizmu v populaci České republiky.
In English
In this study 571 persons were included (280 alcoholics and 291 controls). The diagnostic criteria DSM-IV and ICD-10 for the diagnosis of alcoholism were used. The genomic DNA from the blood using the commercial kit UltraClean Blood Spin kit (MoBio, USA) was isolated. PCR and RFLP for genotypisation were used. We found the same frequency of the A1 allele in alcoholics and controls (0,18). Statistically significant difference in the frequency of the A1 allele was observed between males and females in control group (p = 0.038). No association of the TaqI A polymorphism to the alcohol dependence in the Czech Republic was found.
