Abstract
The article deals with hermeneutical conceptions in contemporary Anglo-American philosophy (P. Winch, C. Taylor, P. de Man, H. Bloom and R. Rorty). The concluding section is devoted to the instigations of the William James philosophy for the theoretical and methodological foundations of the depth hermeneutics.
