Abstract
Kniha je založena na rozsáhlém empirickém hudebně sociologickém výzkumu provedeném v roce 2001 za podpory grantu MK ČR. Na základě srovnání se staršími výzkumy rekonstruuje některé vývojové trendy v české hudební kultuře, soustřeďuje pozornost zejména na vývoj hudebních preferencí a hudebních aktivit ve vztahu k širším hodnotovým orientacím.
Abstract (in English)
The book is based on an extensive sociological survey concerning musical preferences and activities of the Czech population in 2001. Comparative studies extend the scope of interest to the whole post-ware period, focusing on time-series and trends in Czech musical culture. Musical preferences and activities are put into a broader context of value-orientations.
