Abstract
V celosvětovém měřítku zaujímá bronchogenní karcinom druhé místo mezi všemi zhoubnými nádory, v ČR je nejčastějším nádorem mužů, umírajícících na zhoubný nádor. Lékaři všech odborností se proto s bronchogenním karcinomem nevyhnutelně setkávají. Článek se zaměřuje především na epidemiologii, etiologii, symptomatologii, diagnostiku onemocnění.
Abstract (in English)
Lung cancer is among the most frequent cancers worldwide, and the most frequent cancer in men in the Czech Republic. Almost any doctor is therefore likely to meet lung cancer patients at some time. The article deals with epidemiology of lung cancer, etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. The latest developments in pneumooncology are highlighted and presented in a well-structured, easy-to-read fashion.
