The monography is devoted to the problems of so called European Justice Area in Civil Issues. The following problems are analyzed: Rome Convention on the Law Applicable to the Contracts, Council regulation No 44/2001 of 22 December 2000 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters, Council regulation No 1347/2000 of 29 May 2000 on jurisddiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in matrimonial matters and in matters of parental responsibility for children of both spouses and other regulations and directive creating this area of the cooperation among EU states.
