Příspěvek prezenuje přínosy a náklady publicity veřejné správy a možností, které nabízí Internet obcím a městům. Vybranými metodami ekonomické analýzy kvantifikuje dopady navrhovaných řešení na fiskální stránku územně samosprávných celků.
