Testing of wild-living rodents for the presence of antibodies against Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato using indirect ELISA method. Examination for the presence of spirochaetes in rodent tissues by dark- field microscopy. Isolation of samples and identification of them by PCR-RFLP method. Confirmation of results by SDS-PAGGE method.
