Abstract
Interdisciplinary education between technical university and medical school could result in a new original solving of medical tasks. Physiology is taught at Brno University of Technology by professors of Faculty of Medicine as a basic medical discipline. Longlasting cooperation of medical doctors and higher educated engineers in Brno enabled the development of actual diagnostic methods based on spectral analysis of blood pressure variability recorded by a non-invasive continuous blood pressure measurement patented in Brno thirthy years ago.
