Abstract
Present work brings new aspects into the understanding of methamphetamine addiction studying the role of two different serotonergic receptor subtypes 5-HT1 and 5-HT2. According to our results, the most important inhibitory influence for the conditioned reward responding to methamphetamine i.v. self-administration showed pharmacological agonistic manipulation of the 5-HT1B receptor subtype.
