This heuristic research is part of a wider project called The relationship between selected personal characteristics of children and adolescents and their social behaviour. It is investigated in the light of marked changes in the period of societal transformation. The research focuses on selected personal characteristics and their relationship to an individuals social standing in their group. The selected sociometric research method was labelling techniques, which allows a wide spread of information to be gathered about every group member. The goal was to find statistically significant relationships which could be formulated as hypotheses for further critical research in the given field. From the data analysis, using labelling techniques, it is possible to state that a range of relationships (conclusive correlations) exist, including those among temperament characteristics, creativity, and positive and negative choices.
