Abstract
Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption-Ionisation Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) and UV-VIS spectrocopy were used to study complexation of a new synthetic neuroprotective peptide with structure MAPRGFSCLLLLTGEIDLPVKRRA ([Gly14]-humanin, HNG) with copper(II) ions.
