The molluscs of the Kaluža NNR were studied in years 2000-2001. In total, 43 species were recorded. The western part of the reserve was found to be the most preserved and favourable for molluscs, since many sensitive and endangered forest species occurred there (e.g. Platyla polita, Cochlodina cerata opaviensis, Vitrea subrimata, Daudebardia brevipes, and D. rufa.
