Dotazník obsahující 10 otázek pro hodnocení stupně závislosti u adolescentů byl porovnán s hodnotami kotininu v moči a CO ve vydechovaném vzduchu. Byly nalezeny vysoce pozitivní korelace. Mnoho jedinců 15-17ti letých vykazovalo silnou a velmi silnou závislost na nikotinu a kouření.

The questionnaire containing ten items evaluated the degree of dependence in adolescents were compared with the urinary cotinine and CO in exhaled air. Highly positive correlations were found between data of dependence and biologicat tests of exposure. Many individuals aged 15-17y had a strong and very strong dependence on nicotine and smoking.
