Abstract

Die Familie Muscidae stellt einen evolutiven Hohepunkt innerhalb der Zweiflugler dar. Zu ihr gehoren neben terrestrischen Formen wie der vertrauten Stubenfliege auch eine ganze Reihe von Gattungen und Arten, die an Gewasser gebunden sind und aquatische Larven haben. Sie bewohnen Binnengewasser verschiedener Pragung, von brackigen Graben bis zu Wasserfallen an Bergbachen.

Abstract (in Czech)

Čeleď Muscidae patří k evolučně nejvyspělejším čeledím dvoukřídlého hmyzu. Pojednány jsou vodní larvy a dospělci, kteří žijí ve střední Evropě, připojeny jsou klíče a obrázky diagnostických znaků. U 69 druhů je uveden stručný popis dospělců, vajíček, larev a pupárií, dále jejich ekologie, biologie a rozšíření.

Abstract (in English)

All the known aquatic larvae and adults of Muscidae living in Central Europe are keyed and illustrated. Brief descriptions of adults, eggs, larvae and puparia are given and distinguishing characters, ecology, biology and distribution are added for each of 69 species treated.
