Abstract
Solifugids, also known as solpugids or camel spiders (Solifugae), are morphologically and bionomically remarkable order of arachnids, but little attention has been paid to them by researchers. For example, solifugid chromosomes have not yet been examined. Therefore a study have been made of the karyotype of the genus Rhagodes from Israel. The results enable us to assess the phylogenetic relationship between arachnids.
