Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the interrelationship among blood pressure and pulse intervals variability and baroreflex sensitivity (BRS) regulation in adolescents with white coat effect and essential hypertension. Inspite of subjects with white coat effect had similar levels of systolic blood pressure as controls, their BRS and effect looks like intermediate stage in hypertension development.
Abstract (in Czech)
Cílem práce bylo stanovit rozdíly ve vztahu mezi baroreflexní senzitivitou (BRS), variabilitou systolického krevního tlaku (varSTK) a tepových intervalů (varTI)u dospívajících osob s efektem bílého pláště a esenciální hypertenzí. Přestože osoby s efektem bílého pláště mají stejné hodnoty krevního tlaku jako kontroly, snížené hodnoty BRS mohou naznačovat přechod k hypertenzi.
