Abstract
The genetic analysis of seven new late-flowering mutants is reported. One mutation was found to be recessive (dn) and six to be dominant. The relevant loci were located at distinct positions on chromosomes one and four. A new protocol for converting RFLP (Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism) markers to CAPS (Cleaved Amplified Polymorphic Sequences) as PCR-based markers was developed using the Arabidopsis thaliana genome database. RFLP marker MI122 was successfully converted to a CAPS, which allowed more precise mapping of five late-flowering mutations.

V článku je popsána genetická analýza sedmi nových pozdně kvetoucích mutantů. Bylo zjištěno, že jedna mutace je recesivní povahy (dn) a zbylých šest má dominantní charakter. Uvedené geny byly lokalizovány do různých pozic na chromozomu jedna a čtyři. S využitím geonomové databáze Arabidopsis thaliana byla vyvinuta nová metodika konverze markerů RFLP na markery typu CAPS, které jsou založeny na PCR. Pomocí této metodiky byl RFLP marker MI122 úspěšně konvertován na marker CAPS, který byl následně využit pro přesné mapování pěti mutací pro pozdní kvetení.
