Abstract
The paper tries to identify the predicted position of the Czech republic as a future member state in the EU from the Amsterdam treaty to EU constitution. The general overview of the Czech position in the Council of European Union is included to demonstrate the alternation of the Czech delegation's capacity during the process of enlargement.
