Abstract

Internet značně zasáhl do způsobu prezentace i konzumace sexuálních obsahů. Cybersex, to je vyměňování sugestivních, explicitně erotických vzkazů a sexuálních fantazií prostřednictvím sítě. Součástí cybersexu bývá zpravidla i masturbace. Mezi faktory, jež usnadňují online sexualitu bývá zdůrazňována přístupnost, dostupnost a anonymita internetu. Motivy, které jedince k cybersexu přivedou, bývají často nevědomé. Výzkumem realizovaném v roce 2003 mezi českými uživateli byly odhaleny potřeby, které se na této motivaci podílí. Jsou to: touha po sexuálním uspokojení, touha po poznání, touha být sám sebou, touha odreagovat se, touha být žádaný, potřeba získat partnera pro reálný sex, vzrušení z anonymity a interaktivity. Tyto potřeby mohou vystupovat jak samostatně, tak ve vzájemných interakcích. Výzkumem bylo také zjištěno, že cybersexuální aktivity mohou být samotnými uživateli vnímány rozdílně a pro některé z nich má cybersex určité výhody i ve srovnání s reálným sexem. Nadměrné provozování cybersexu může vyústit v patologické chování se znaky závislosti. Abstract (in English)

The Internet has significantly influenced the ways of presenting and consuming sexual content. Cybersex is defined as erotically suggestive or explicit messages and sexual fantasies that are exchanged via the Internet. Masturbation usually forms part of cybersex. The factors that facilitate online sexuality are accessibility, affordability and anonymity of the Internet. Motives that lead individuals to cybersex are often unconscious. Research conducted in 2003 among Czech users revealed some of the needs that motivate people to cybersex. It is: desire for sexual satisfaction, desire for knowledge, desire to be oneself, desire for a break, desire to be wanted, desire to find a partner for real sex, excitement stemming from anonymity and from interaction. It should be noted that these needs are not always mutually exclusive. Research also revealed that cybersexual activities are perceived differently, even among the users themselves and that cybersex has certain advantages compared to real sex for some consumers. The excessive consumption of cybersex can turn in pathological behaviour with the symptoms of the addiction.
