Abstract

V originále

Gelatinase A (matrix metalloproteinase-2, MMP-2) has been shown to play an important role in the pathogenesis of several disorders, including periodontal diseases. In this study, we test the hypothesis that variations in this gene influence the development and severity of chronic periodontitis.

In Czech

Gelatináza A (matrix metaloproteináza 2, MMP-2) hraje důležitou úlohu v patogeneze některých nemocí, včetně onemocnění parodontu. V této práci jsme testovali hypotézu, že varianty v tomto genu ovlivňují rozvoj a závažnost chronické parodontitidy.
