Abstract
Rumunsko je mezi bývalými socialistickými státy graduální reformátor. Privatizace byla obtížná a zpomalena; mnohokrát změny vnutily mezinárodní smlouvy, misto vnitřní politická vůle. Instituce privatizace měly současně sociální a soukromé zodpovědnosti, výsledkem byly zmatky a pomalosti procesu. Tento článek narysuje způsob fungování institucí privatizace v Rumunsku a její následky v právním kontextu.
Abstract (in English)
Romania is among former socialist states a gradual reformer. Privatization has been a process loaded with difficulties and delays; many changes were imposed because of international agreements rather than internal political will. The institutions which had the role of privatizing were established as a mix of social and private responsibilities, creating confusion and slowness. This paper outlines the way privatization institutions have operated in Romania and the consequences of their functioning in the legal context.
