This deposition was accompanied by electroless deposition of Cu. Therefore; we have investigated the process of electroless deposition of copper coating on iron powder particles from CuSO4 electrolyte in the presence of tri-sodium citrate as complexing agent. Our interest was focused on the influence of concentration of complexing agent, suspension density and Fe particle size fraction on this process. We used complexing agent, tri-sodium citrate, for retard the reaction rate of deposition. In follows of measured experimental results it was found that the concentration of 0.25 M tri-sodium citrate is optimal. The thickness of Cu coating increases with increasing Fe particles size, although the increase of suspension density havent influenced the thickness of Cu coating. ER -
