Abstract
Abstract (in English)
The aim of this paper is to expose purely semantical theory of proper names with historic reference. We claim that proper names always denote individuals; we presupose s.c. fixed domain. We agree with Tichý's view that meaning of proper names with historic reference is connected with uncertainity in identifying specific individual. After investigating many connected topics we adopted Tichý's suggestion of respective meaning: the meaning of historic proper name is an individual variable. We analyze his claims in a detail way, correct and criticize them, and then convert these ideas to a modified theory. Finally we subsume this modified theory under sketched new theory of proper names which explicates all proper names in the same manner.
