Autorka v úvodu uvádí do kontextu problém ženské delikvence. Dále se zaměřuje na situaci v České republice, kde je i v posledních letech percentuální podíl žen na celkovém počtu všech delikventů velmi nízký. Morální škody nejsou často v případě ženské kriminality vyčíslovány, zatímco v okolních zemích existují řady studií zabývající se touto problematikou. Výzkum konaný v rámci řešeného grantu byl proto především zaměřen na problematiku hodnot, postojů a vůbec právního vědomí delikventních žen. Empirické šetření postihuje základní hodnotové orientace a postoje k právu delikventních žen a jejich úroveň právního a morálního vědomí, identifikuje základní sociální charakteristiky a body životní (respektive kriminální) kariéry delikventních žen, rodinné a sociální zázemí před nástupem výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a po návratu z výkonu trestu.

The author in the introduction contextualises the problem of women's deliquency. Further, she focuses on the situation in the Czech Republic, where the percentage of deliquent women in the total of all delinquents has been very low in the past years. Moral damage is often not evaluated in the case of women's deliquency. This is the reason why more time should be spent on research in this area because in other countries a comparable situations is much better. This shows that countries devote more resources to this social phenomenon.The research grant is centres on the orientation of esential values of the respondents, their value system and attitudes to law in connection with demographic and social characteristics, family and social background, and the type of crimes they committed.
