Abstract
Příspěvek přibližuje počátky muzejní pedagogiky v rámci teoretických reflexí edukační funkce muzea od 16. století. Dále se zabývá konstituováním muzejní pedagogiky jako moderní vědy, jež spadá do poslední třetiny minulého století a souvisí se systematickým výzkumem, s publikováním teoretických muzejně pedagogických textů a s oborovým zakotvením ve vědeckých ústavech a v terciárním vzdělávání. Závěr příspěvku charakterizuje aktuální trendy a koncepce muzejní pedagogiky, jež jsou především determinovány pedagogickými, muzeologickými, psychologickými a komunikačními teoretickými východisky.

Abstract

Příspěvek přibližuje počátky muzejní pedagogiky v rámci teoretických reflexí edukační funkce muzea od 16. století. Dále se zabývá konstituováním muzejní pedagogiky jako moderní vědy, jež spadá do poslední třetiny minulého století a souvisí se systematickým výzkumem, s publikováním teoretických muzejně pedagogických textů a s oborovým zakotvením ve vědeckých ústavech a v terciárním vzdělávání. Závěr příspěvku charakterizuje aktuální trendy a koncepce muzejní pedagogiky, jež jsou především determinovány pedagogickými, muzeologickými, psychologickými a komunikačními teoretickými východisky.

Abstract (in English)
The paper describes origins, development and current trends of museum education. This field is defined as theory and practice of education in museums. The first theoretical reflection of museum education traces back in the 16th century. A brief account of modern museum education is provided, which have been blossoming since the last third of the previous century. It was manifested by systematic research, publishing theoretical texts, and work in institutions and in tertiary education. The final part of the paper describes the current state of museum education.

The paper describes origins, development and current trends of museum education. This field is defined as theory and practice of education in museums.
