Abstract
The need to improve the energy efficiency of buildings is well known today. Reduction of energy consumption of buildings is possible by means of good thermal insulation, preventing thermal bridging and air leakage, low-emissivity windows with superinsulated frames, the whole airtightness of building envelope with continuous supply of fresh air. The aim of the article is to identify the basic ideas to building energy efficient houses.
