The Internet and computers significantly influence the ways of presenting and consuming sexual content. In the presented study cyberexual activities and their users are surveyed. We understand cybersex as erotically suggestive or explicite messages or sexual fantasies that people exchange via the net. The qualitative survey conducted in 2003 outlined the psychological background of cybersexual activities. It belongs here: (1) needs that contribute to the motivation, (2) perceptions of cybersex, (3) sence of cybersex, (4) influence of cybersex upon the real sex, (5) the advantages of cybersex compared to real sex. In this paper only the first, second and last category are enlarged.

Internet významně ovlivnil způsob prezentace a konzumace sexuálních obsahů. Prezentovaná studie zkoumala cybersexuální aktivity a jejich uživatele. Za cybersex považujeme sexuálně explicitní a eroticky sugestivní vzkazy či sexuální fantazie, které si lidé vyměňují prostřednictvím Internetu. Kvalitativní výzkum uskutečněný v roce 2003 odhaluje psychologické pozadí cybersexuálních aktivit. Patří sem: (1) potřeby podílející se na motivaci, (2) vnímání cybersexu, (3) význam cybersexu, (4) vliv cybersexu na sex reálný, (5) výhody cybersexu ve srovnání s reálným sexem. V tomto příspěvku je rozvedena pouze první, druhá a pátá kategorie.
