Abstract
The objective of this pre-clinical study was to ascertain behavioural effects of amisulpride in the model of agonistic interactions in mice and compare it with the effects of selected antidepressants in the same animal model. This model is principally based on the conspecific social conflict in male mice. In conclusion, unlike citalopram and valproate, amisulpride at the doses used did not produce antidepressant-like effects in this ethological model in mice, nor did it influence agonistic behaviour in the sense of anxiolytic effects.
