Abstract

This chapter analyses the scope and strucrure of poverty in the Czech Republic as well as factors influencing poverty - measured as income insufficiency and material deprivation.It also explores the role and the impact of social policy measures on the alleviation of poverty and on the labour market inclusion.

Tato kapitola analýzuje rozsah a strukturu chudoby, pojímané jako materiální deprivace, v České republice a faktory, které je ovlivňují. Soušasně se zabývá i vlivem sociální politiky na rozsah, chudobu a míru dopadu chudoby.
