Abstract

Příspěvek se zabývá specifickou formou sociolektu, který je pokládán za typický pro Brno. Ukazuje jeho kořeny v bilingvním prostředí města ležícího ve výrazné náření oblasti a krátce naznačuje, jak se dnešní podoba této mluvy vyvíjela od počátku 20. století. Původně šlo o mluvu lidí na okraji společnosti nebo alespoň o mluvu neprestižní, od níž se vzdělaní obyvatelé města distancovali. Některé její prvky byly zaznamenány, nebyla však dlouho předmětem soustavného lingvistického výzkumu. Jedna z neformálních skupin brněnských umělců 60. let 20. století na tuto mluvu navázala - zrodil se hantec. Přirozeně vzniklá sociální role hantecu jako jazyka spojujícího danou skupinu se od konce 80. let měnila v jeho vědomé užívání také v psaných textech veřejné povahy, kde jsou specifické lexémy kumulovány se záměrem dosáhnout většího komického efektu. Vzniklé texty jsou povahy inzitního umění, nacházejí však své čtenáře. Pro ně jsou opatřovány i slovníky nebo paralelním překladem do neutrálního jazyka. Nové komunikační potřeby se promítají do proměn výrazného lexika tohoto sociolektu (neologismy, posuny ve významu slov starších). Existence většího potu knih psaných v hantecu se promítá do stabilizace jeho normy; nečekaně se v ní posilují hláskoslovné i tvaroslovné prvky typické pro stedomoravská tradiční nářečí, trvá tedy zřejmě potěeba akcentovat nejen neformálost, ale i lokální zakotvení vzniklých textů. Tím se hantec liší od ostatních sociolektů dnešní doby.

Abstract (in English)

"Hantec" (ie Brno city dialect) as a phenomenon of today The contribution deals with a specific form of sociolect, regarded as typical of the city of Brno. Hantec is rooted in the bilingual situation of the city, located in the region using a specific dialect. The contribution shows the development of the sociolect from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. Originally it was a variety used by people on the margins of society or at least a non prestigious variety, which people belonging to the educated social groups tended to avoid. Some features of this variety had been recorded, but for a long period it was not a subject of serious linguistic studies. However, in the 1960s there was a group of artists linked with Brno who used this variety as a background for their own activities and thus hantec, in its present-day form, was born. The position of hantec as a variety linking members of one particular community has been changing since the 1980s towards the position of a variety used also in written public texts where specific items of vocabulary are accumulated with the purpose of reaching a specific comic effect. Texts of that kind have a character of naive art, but do find their readers. Texts are often accompanied by a glossary or by a parallel version in a neutral language. New requirements in communication are reflected by modifications of a very specific vocabulary of this sociolect (including shifts of meaning concerning older words) As the number of books written in hantec is growing, its norm becomes more stabilized phonological and morphological features typical of Central Moravian dialects are stressed there is obviously a necessity to manifest not only the informality, but also roots of the texts in one particular region, which is apparently the main distinction between hantec and other present-day sociolects.
