Abstract

TIS - Svaz pro ochranu přírody a krajiny se původně zrodil pod hlavičkou Národního muzea v roce 1958 a vydržel tak až do listopadu 1969, kdy byl ustaven jako samostatná organizace. Studie se věnuje popisu aktivit, metodiky a myšlenkového zázemí této organizace. Podává zároveň svědectví o společenských vztazích v období tzv. normalizace 70. let 20. století. Politická situace té doby zapříčinila "dobrovolné" rozpuštění organizace v roce 1979. TIS během komunistické éry zastával úlohu dnešních ekologických nevládních organizací.

Abstract (in English)

TIS - The Union for the protection of nature and landscape was the grass-root organisation, which was keeping an environmental awareness here. The organisation attached to the National museum in Prague in years 1958 - 1969 and brecame stand alone on November 1969. The study brings a description of the activities, methodies and ideas background of the organisation and documents the contemporary social relationship in the period of so-called normalization of society. The political conditions of the seventieth made the necessary the abolition in 1979. So TIS was playing the role of an environmental non-governmental organisation during the period of the communism.
