Abstract (in English)
The article brings new, quantitative data on the age of four granite types recognized within the Melechov massif. The chemical ages of all samples fall in the range 313 - 317 Ma. This age is about 10 Ma younger than the age generally accepted for the southern (Austrian) part of the Moldanubian pluton. The deformed Lipnice type contains besides monazites of the above age also younger (308 Ma) monazites, reflecting the younger deformation in the late-Variscan extensional regime.
