Abstract

Poskytování turistických informací je v České republice již několik let považováno za veřejnou bezplatnou službu. Zdaleka však není nastavena zákonná norma, která by tuto službu definovala, stanovovala její parametry a zodpovědnost. Příspěvek se snaží mj. poukázat na možnosti a schopnosti elementárních jednotek turistických informací v prostoru, turistických informačních center (TIC), poskytnout zájemcům kvalitní a odpovídající informační servis. Problematickou oblastí poskytování turistických informací v rámci TIC se jeví nejen snaha o jejich striktní standardizaci a certifikaci, ale také způsob financování a institucionální podpora v rámci ustavených regionálních struktur. Palčivou a stále neřešenou otázkou je také tlak na zřízení a efektivní fungování regionálních TIC, které se stanou oporou sítě TIC v ČR a svojí metodicko technickou a organizační podporou budou pomáhat výkonu funkce lokálních a místních informačních center.

Abstract (in English)

Tourist information is considered in the Czech Republic as a free public service. However, we lack a legal act, which would define this service, set its parameters and responsibility. A contribution attempts to show opportunities and abilities of elementary tourist information units in space, of tourist information centres (TIC), provide those interested with quality and relevant information service. As a problematic field of tourist information within TIC we can name not only effort to reach its strict standardization and certification but also financing and institutional support within regional structures. Pressing and not solved problem is pressure on establishment and effective functioning of regional TIC, which would become support for TIC net in the Czech Republic and through their methodological and technical support they will help local information centres functioning.
