V naší studii jsme s použitím modelu opakovaných párových interakcí dospělých myších samců srovnávali behaviorální účinky kanabidiolu s účinky citalopramu a valproátu, užívanými v terapii afektivních poruch. Naše výsledky v souladu s humánními studiemi naznačují anxiolytické, případně antidepresivní působení kanabidiolu.

The present study compared effects of cannabidiol and antidepressant drugs citalopram and valproate on locomotor behavioural changes in the open field in non-aggressive group-housed male mice which served several times as opponents to aggressive singly-housed mice. The results suggest an antidepressant-like effects of citalopram and valproate and anxiolytic effect of cannabidiol in mice defeated by an aggressive conspecific partner.
