Abstract

V kontextu všeobecných snah o vyrovnání šancí mužů a žen na trhu práce text nahlíží aktuální postavení českých žen a žen s dětmi na pracovním trhu. Zaměřujeme se na specifika postavení ženské pracovní síly (především s dětmi) na pracovním trhu, a to formou ukazatelů zaměstnanosti, nezaměstnanosti, neaktivity a ukazatelů rozdílu v příjmech mužů a žen. Text se opírá o sekundární analýzu dat a zájem je soustředěn především na sledování rozdílů mezi ženskou a mužskou pracovní sílou (gender rozdíly), ale i na rozdíly mezi ženami s dětmi a ženami bezdětnými s cílem zachytit vliv přítomnosti dítěte/dětí na pozici žen na pracovním trhu.

Abstract (in English)

In the context of the universal efforts to equalize the opportunities of men and women in the labour market we are focusing on the actual position of women with children in the labour market. We examine the specific features of the female labour force position in the labour market (especially those with children) via the indicators of employment, unemployment, inactivity and gender differences in pay. We carry out the secondary data analysis with particular interest in the differences between male and female labour force, but also between the women with and without children. Thus we intend to reveal the effect of children on the mothers labour market position in the Czech republic.
