There were Crowe type I 6, type II 31, type III 3 a type IV 3 patients. The coverage of the shell by the graft was 32 % at the average. The mean follow-up was 120 monoths. The mean Harris hip score has improved from 58 to 92 points. Osteointehgration of the shell was evident in all 43 hips. The was no failure of the graft. ER -
