By means of immunofluorescence microscopy with the monoclonal antibody TU-06 directed against beta-tubulin this was found in the cortical area containing membrane vesicles, while the kinetosomes, cilia and other microtubular structures were unstained.

Nepřímou imunofluorescencí s anti betatubulinovou protilátkou TU-06 byla prokázánn přítomnost beta-tubulinu v membránovém kortexu, nikoli však v kinetosomech, řasinkách a jiných mikrotubulárních strukturách.
