Abstract
Visualisation of 3D medical images from CT and MR is the aim of this paper. As the interpretation of resulting images is a quite important problem for medical purposes segmentation techniques are included here too. They are demanded to be simple enough to prevent them making slower the whole process of visualisation. A volume rendering method called Ray casting is presented here as a suitable algorithm for visualisation voxel based medical image data.
