Abstract

Dle výsledků dosavadních výzkumů v oblasti gender studies je zřejmé, že to není pouze pohlaví, které ovlivňuje rod. Naopak, ukazuje se, že na utváření míry tradičně pojaté maskulinity a feminity se podílí řada dalších faktorů. V rámci našeho výzkumu jsme se zaměřili na vztah mezi sebepercepcí tradičně pojaté maskulinity a feminity a sourozeneckou konstelací. V úvodu výzkumu jsme si kladli následující otázky. Je sebepercepce starších sourozenců více maskulinní než u mladších sourozenců? Jsou rozdíly v sebepercepci maskulinity a feminity u starších (popř. nejstarších) bratrů a starších (popř. nejstarších ) sester? Tento výzkumný úkol byl realizován na zkoumaném vzorku 253 respondentů, studentů středních a vysokých škol. Některé výsledky tohoto prvního výzkumu této problematiky jsou předkládány v následujícím příspěvku.

Abstract (in English)

According to the results of existing research in the field of gender studies, it is clear that it is not exclusively biological sex that influences gender. On the contrary, the creation of levels of traditionally perceived masculinity and femininity are influenced by a range of other factors. The ways in which masculinity and femininity are influenced by the sibling constellation are investigated in the present research. Several hundred respondents (students of high schools and universities) answered the questionnaire. The authors attempted to determine whether the younger sister of an older brother is perceived as more feminine than the older sister of a younger brother, etc. Some of the results of this initial research are presented in this paper.
