| Cílem konference bylo uchopení konceptu gender z interdisciplinárního hlediska a reflexe toho, jak je tento koncept pojímán v jednotlivých disciplínách a uplatňován ve výuce různých kateder Fakulty sociálních studií MU v Brně. Šlo o prostor, ve kterém po jednom roce existence oboru genderová studia a po několika letech výuky nejrůznějších kurzů zaměřených na genderová témata bylo možné konfrontovat perspektivy různých paradigmat a disciplín. Jeden diskusní blok byl věnován přímo pojetí kategorie genderu, další se pak zaměřil na konkrétní témata, která se objevují ve výzkumech a výuce probíhajících na fakultě. |

| The aim of the conference was to deal with the notion of gender from an interdisciplinary point of view as well as with the reflection of how the notion is regarded in individual disciplines and applied to teaching in various departments of the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University. It was a ground where to confront perspectives of a number of paradigms and disciplines, after a year of existence of gender studies as an individual field of study and after several years of offering all sorts of courses focused on gender topics. One discussion forum was devoted directly to the notion of the category of gender; another one was focused on particular topics that occur in research and teaching taking place at the faculty. |
