Abstract
Abstract (in English)
The aim of this study was to gather and examine representatives of wild living rodents and blood-sucking arthropods for the presence of Borrelia burgdorferi s.l. A total of 24 borrelian isolates were obtained, 21 from ticks and 3 from rodents. Using PCR and RFLP methods the isolates were identified as 3x B. afzelii, 12x, B. garinii, 1x B. burgdorferi s.s., 2x B. valaisiana, 2x mixed infection of B. garinii + B. afzelii a, 1x mixed infection of B. garinii + B.b.s.s.
